I am a 27 year old self-taught photographer born and raised in East Tennessee. My obsession started when I picked up my mom's old DSLR. I took some photos for a friend going to senior prom. Little did I know that I would actually enjoy it. Lots of trial and error, and investments later and here I am. Everyday I'm working to be better for my clients and for myself. I'm thankful that I get to do what I love and that I get to put a smile on people's faces. I love giving people photos that they will cherish for a lifetime. My style is a combination of lifestyle & classic with a creative twist.
Besides photography, I love live music, colorful sunsets, and seeing and trying new things.
I take my job very seriously but I want it to be fun as well. So here's what to expect if you're thinking about shooting a session with me..
- Im a talker. I love connecting with people and making new friends!
- I won't make you do anything you're not comfortable with. Not feeling it? Let me know and we can try something different. This is for you!
- I will try to make you laugh. My favorite photos from most of my sessions are the ones where you are cracking up and smiling from ear to ear. My goal is to always get an authentic smile out of you if I can. You may think I'm funny and you may not.. Did I mention I was class clown?
- I will explain lighting and posing to you during our time together. Sometimes it's hard to envision, but I will try my best to make you understand what I am doing.
- I try to use a mixture of poses and prompts during my sessions to make sure we get candid & traditional shots.
